The Borgias (2011 – 2012)

Povestea celei mai infame familii din Spania este adusă pe micile ecrane cu o incredibilă subtilitate în drama istorică ”The Borgias”. Spre sfârșitul secolului al 15-lea, Borgias era una dintre cele mai înstărite familii din Europa. Când Rodrigo Borgia este ales papa, fiii săi: Cesar, Gioffre și Juan ajung in pozitii de putere, datorita tatalui lor, care aranjeaza casatorii avantajoase politic pentru ei. Nici fiica lui, Lucrezia nu scapă de un mariaj din interes, aceasta fiind obligată să-l ia de soț pe Giovanni Sforza, fiul preferat al unei familii aflate în opoziție cu clanul Borgias. În timp ce Rodrigo se bucură de avantajele pe care i le aduc aceste mariaje, copiii lui au numai de suferit.
